The prerequisites for CCBA includes:
- Bachelor's degree, certification in a professional development program in business analysis, and 2,160 hours of business analysis experience within the past four years.
- The prerequisites for CBAP include: bachelor's degree, certification in professional development program in business analysis, and 5,400 hours of business analysis experience within the past four years, with at least 2,700 hours in three of the six knowledge areas.
Both the exams are structured in the same way. It consists of 55 multiple choice questions that need to be answered within 3.5 hours.
The passing score for both the CCBA and CBAP exams is 70%.
Following is the complete break-up for both the certification exams:
- CBAP: application fee $145; Exam fee $350 (for members), $505 (for non-members)
- CCBA: application fee $145; Exam fee $250 (for members), $405 (for non-members)
